thinkport FORUM GREEN LOGISTICS > – a forward-looking, sustainability-oriented knowledge and networking platform that focuses on the transportation industry and logistics. “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it ‘The Present'”. Since the founding of the Green Logistics Forum and thinkport VIENNA, we have been actively shaping the logistics industry in Vienna and beyond together with our partners and supporters. Our journey has been characterized by innovative strength, reliable cooperation and the constant pursuit of greater innovation, sustainability and future viability .

2015–2025: ten years on the road to 2030 – transformation in action and the courage to break new ground: from the initial idea to innovation. Together with our partners, we have designed forward-looking transport and logistics solutions, created networks, and established sustainability as an integral part of innovation. But at a time when ambitious climate targets are coming under increasing pressure, one term is coming into focus: climate rollback.

What happens when climate protection measures that have already been decided upon are reversed?
Is it only climate protection that is at risk, or is it also innovations that are indispensable for sustainable and future-proof logistics?

One thing is clear: without continuous investment in new technologies, processes, and ideas, progress will turn into stagnation—or even regression. Innovation is and remains the key. Technologies find their way when the conditions are right—sometimes even when they change again.

We are addressing the issue of how we can secure and accelerate innovation and make it resilient to climate rollbacks, and what solutions logistics needs in order to remain sustainable and competitive in the future.
