A WAY to the year 2030 … The forum is a long-term initiative for creating a sustainable awareness and improving the image of the transport industry and logistics, which accompanies decision-makers and experts in a network on their journey to the year 2030. The forum is a cross-industry platform where state-of-the-art developments and necessities are discussed. Over the next 15 years, the forum will communicate the potential of sustainable logistics to stakeholders.
KNOWLEDGE creates ENTHUSIASM … Our activities focus on establishing a lively exchange of knowledge between business and science in order to show all stakeholders the path from fiction to vision, from technology to mission and thus promote innovation in the long term. In this context, it is important to make the latest results and findings available or “accessible” to all groups of people. In this way, science in the sense of “creating knowledge” can be taken out of the ivory tower of internal university research and more experts and scientists can pass on their knowledge and thus inspire people for innovative fields of activity in the transport industry and logistics!

#This year’s Forum
The Green Logistics Forum provides a platform for the effective exchange of knowledge in the logistics sector. Through the active exchange of experts from science, business, politics, administration and civil society, current problems are addressed and solutions are discussed together.
Since 2016, the forum green logistics has been scientifically supported by the Institute of Production Management and Logistics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, represented by Prof. Dr. Manfred Gronalt. The forum is organized and hosted by thinkport VIENNA – logistics innovations hub. The forum sees itself as a cross-interest platform that discusses state-of-the-art developments and necessities openly and neutrally.
The thinkport VIENNA team takes care of the overall organization and ensures professional content and organizational planning, implementation, financing and media presence.
