Marian Timler studied Logistics and Transport Management at the University of Applied Sciences bfi Vienna, specializing in Supply Chain Management and Black Sea Region. Since 2016, he has been Deputy Head of Business Development & International at Wiener Hafen GmbH. Since 2022, he has been responsible for managing port logistics at the Port of Vienna.

Martin POSSET - Innovation & Policy

Since April 1, 2017, Martin Posset has been responsible for the innovation division of thinkport VIENNA.  In 2015 he became deputy chairman of the working group "Combined Transport" of the Austrian Transport Society (ÖVG) and works closely with the UIRR - International Union for Rail-Road Transport in Brussels.  At the beginning of 2015, he became head of the "Forum Green Logistics" and "Forum Logistics Intelligence" of the Unitcargo Group. From 2014 to 2016, Martin Posset was a member of the Council for Sustainable Logistics under the leadership of Werner Müller. Since 2014, he has been a permanent external expert for the "Green Logistics Department" of the German Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association. He is also an external lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna since 2012, where he lectures on "Intermodal Transport". Since 2009 he is self-employed as a sole proprietor (mchp mobility | chains | processes ). Since 2008 he is partner of h2 projekt.beratung KG in Vienna. He is co-author of the second and third Green Papers on sustainable logistics and the handbook "Intermodal Transport in Europe".

Peter ROJKO

Peter ROJKO - Development & Network

DI Peter Rojko is the Head of Business Development & International Affairs at the Port of Vienna since 2009. After studying architecture at the Vienna University of Technology and passing his civil engineering examination in 2006, he worked from 1998 to 2009 in the field of architecture and project development at AFC, Settles Associates Inc. Washington D.C. Architectural and Interior Design, Moser Architekten, ATP Vienna and Wiener Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft. In recent years, two Ten-T grant applications for the extension of the container terminal have been approved under his leadership, and several national grants have been positively evaluated. Since 2013, he is the initiator of innovative, cooperative research projects at the Port of Vienna as well as responsible for networking at national and European level and represents the interests of the Port of Vienna at international conferences and at European level in Brussels.

Sonja Maria RUSSO

Sonja Maria RUSSO - Realisation & Internationalisation 

Sonja Maria Russo is a researcher at the Institute of Production and Logistics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna since March 2015. She finished her Master studies in Environmental Science and her Bachelor studies in Business Administration. Her doctoral thesis focused on innovation systems at multimodal inland terminals She has several years of work experience in national and European research projects and in international project development for a multilateral organisation. She spent several years abroad. German is her first language, she is fluent in English and Croatian and speaks Italian. Her research interests included, inter alia, innovation labs, their organisational development and success factors. Sonja was already involved in the development and test phase of the thinkport VIENNA. Today, she is primarily engaged in the topics Circular Economy, and energy and inland terminals.

Henrike Bauer

Business Development & International Affairs

Henrike Bauer can look back on 17 years of professional experience as a logistics manager in retail. In 2019, she studied Logistics and Transport Management with specialization in Supply Chain Management at the FH des BFI Wien and 2022 she joined the master program Sustainability and Responsible Management at the Executive Education Center of the FH des BFI Wien.  In March 2023, she started as Deputy Head of Business Development & International Affairs at Hafen Wien GmbH and joined the thinkport Vienna team.
