The “Agile Team City Hub” receives the golden baton of the City of Vienna!

Bridges and synergies to grow further. In 2018, when the golden baton was awarded, everything revolved around the topic of cooperation and the expansion of cross-departmental and cross-office work. Vienna is in the fast lane when it comes to cooperation.

From February to May 2018 Martin Posset (thinkport VIENNA, BOKU Vienna), Marian Timler (Port of Vienna), Gerrit Thell (MA 23), Dieter Häusler (MA 18), Harald Semela (MD-BD), David Vladar (MA 65) and Peter Springschütz (Vienna Business Agency) developed a concept for a City Hub in Vienna in the form of an “agile team”. The innovation was the way the team worked together. For more than four months the “Agile team” worked in the premises of WeXelerate as a “startup”. This form of cooperation has never existed in the city of Vienna before. thinkport VIENNA is an open innovation laboratory for urban freight logistics, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology.
